Steve Reynolds has been performing close-up magic for decades, and his card work has earned respect from fellow magicians as well as the guests he entertains. He wrote a column for Magic Magazine for four years and served as the magic consultant on Mississippi Grind, the film starring Ryan Reynolds.
Steve performs right in the hands of your guests, pairing dry humor with sleight of hand that works inches from their eyes. During a cocktail hour, he moves from group to group with material built for five or six people at a time. For a more focused set, he offers a seated close-up show for up to 20 guests or a parlor show for groups up to 50. Card magic is his specialty, and much of what he performs is his own original material.
He is a natural fit for networking receptions, holiday parties, awards dinners, weddings, and private celebrations, and he is comfortable working a room of up to 300 guests. His material plays well with skeptical crowds, and See Magic Live clients describe him as friendly, funny, and easy to work with.
Based in Philadelphia, Steve performs throughout the region, including New Jersey, New York, and Baltimore. Recent events have taken him from a corporate reception in Center City to a Google leadership team’s offsite in Manhattan. Guests leave laughing and still trying to work out how he did it.
